The Last Airbender Movie is another adventure-fantasy film based on the successful animated tv series – Avatar: The Last Airbender. Noah Ringer will play the major role as Aang, a 12-year old kid that has the ability to bend all four elements but on the first part of the movie he only knows to airbend. This movie is directed by M. Night Shyamalan, the man behind the movies The Sixth Sense and Signs. The Last Air Bender will be on cinemas this coming July 2010. The fight scenes and graphics looks good. I hope the story line is good as well. Check out the trailer below:

Tekken Movie Trailer 2010

January 17th, 2010

This Tekken Movie trailer didn’t turned out as what I expected. I’ve been waiting for so long to see this trailer and now it looks really bad. :( The characters looks fine but the action scene is not that appealing. This movie is an Indie film and maybe that’s the reason why it looks bad. If this is a Hollywood movie, maybe it wouldn’t be as bad as this.

The cast includes Jon Foo as Jin Kazama, Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa as Heihachi Mishima, Luke Goss as Steve Fox, Lateef Crowder as Eddy Gordo and many more. The film was directed by Dwight H. Little. It will premiere in Japan this coming March 6, 2010. Release date for USA is not yet finalized. Source: [IMDB]

Avatar Movie 2009

December 20th, 2009

I just watched Avatar in 3D!!! :) I consider the Avatar movie as one of the best movies of the year. I’ve watched a lot of hollywood movies lately and I really think that this one should be on top of the list. I enjoy watching sci-fi movies specially if the quality of graphics and story characters blends very well. Just like G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, Star Trek, and other sci-fi movies that exploded this year! The story and special effects of the Avatar movie is awesome! I never get bored during the whole film! And that is exactly what I am looking for in a movie.

It has a total of 2:41 minutes run time. I strongly suggest that you watch it guys. :D

New Moon Movie Review

November 21st, 2009

I’ve been watching a lot of movies lately. So me and my girl watched the Twilight Saga: New Moon yesterday on it’s first day. The movie was directed by Chris Weitz, the guy behind the movies American Pie and The Golden Compass. Cast is still the same as the Twilight movie.

Twilight Saga: New Moon

I personally didn’t enjoyed the movie. Maybe because I am not a very big Twilight Saga fanatic. And that’s my point, if you are not really a very big Twilight dude or girl who giggles about the not-so-good-vampire-actor Robert Pattinson or a Kristen Stewart fanatic, you won’t definitely enjoy the movie.

2012 – We Are Warned

November 17th, 2009

Last Saturday, Me and my girl watched the last full show of 2012. It was really a blast! I enjoyed it a lot! It was a 2:37min film directed by Roland Emmerich, the man behind the movies Independence Day, The Day After Tomorrow, 10,000 B.C. and more. On that 2 hour and 37 minutes run time of the movie, I never get bored! The pacing is really good as well as the connections of the people from the start in a different scenario.

2012 Movie

I wonder why the movie critics in rotten tomato has a lot of negative feedback though. They said it was a movie full of special effects. Yeah I admit it has lots of special effects on which I think makes it a bit realistic and at the same time brought a picture on what could happen to Earth in the future. As for the graphics, I think they really did a good job on the effects. :) I don’t care anyway what the critics say. All I know is that, 2012 Blows Up A $65 Million on it’s first day! :D Yay!

Paranormal Activity

October 12th, 2009

This is definitely a bad ass movie! I badly want to see this one! :)

Here’s a plot summary from IMDB:

After a young, middle class couple moves into what seems like a typical suburban ’starter’ tract house, they become increasingly disturbed by a presence that may or may not be somehow demonic but is certainly most active in the middle of the night. Especially when they sleep. Or try to.

And oh yeah, 85% Tomato Meter on Rotten Tomato Movie Reviews here.

Harry Potter – The Half Blood Prince

July 16th, 2009

Harry Potter The Half Blood PrinceHarry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince was premiered yesterday, July 15, 2009 on all major cinemas here in the Philippines. It will be shown today July 16, in IMAX Mall of Asia for more than a week I guess.

This is one of my favorite book on the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling. I find it really interesting because the action and some mysteries for the past books have been revealed here. Voldemort, which we really don’t have any idea where, how and why did he became a Dark Lord was all answered on this book. The story will more likely focus on Voldemort and his connection to Harry. More exciting scenes and revelations awaits for those who only like Harry Potter on the big screen.

With an 80%+ Tomato Meter on Rotten Tomatoes, this movie will surely be worth it!

I plan to watch it on IMAX and I heard some of the scenes are on 3D, so I think that would be more exciting! :D I hope this movie will be the best on the Harry Potter series! :D
